CLG Bhearna chairman wins €10,700 in the club's weekly lotto draw.
The chairman of a GAA club in Galway has won his own club’s lotto!
John Connolly, chairman of CLG Bhearna and a member of the Galway City Council, matched four numbers (4, 14, 24, 28) in the club’s weekly lotto draw and won €10,700.
Cllr Connolly took part in Monday’s Facebook live draw, along with club lotto officers Murt Conneely and Shane O’Flaherty.
The lotto run by CLG Bhearna has proved lucky for some having been won four times in six months, with over €60,000 in prize money.
