Tyrone U20 manager Paul Devlin has welcomed the news that three members of his team have been brought into the county senior team’s fold.

After their recent All-Ireland U20FC final triumph over Kildare, Niall Devlin, Michael McGleenan and Steve Donaghy have been called up by the Red Hands’ joint managers Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher ahead of next weekend’s mouth-watering qualifier clash against Armagh.

Newly crowned U20 Player of the Year Ruairi Canavan, who is eligible for the U20 grade again next year, has not been drafted into the senior set-up.

Devlin, McGleenan and Donaghy all performed consistently for Tyrone during the U20 campaign and their manager is delighted to see their immediate progression through to the senior ranks.

"That's the whole goal for all the lads, that's what we bring them through for," he is quoted saying by BBC Sport NI.
