David Clifford was the star of the show once again by scoring 0-13 to help Fossa to a sensational Kerry IFC semi-final penalty shootout victory over Austin Stacks.
Ten of the Kerry captain’s points came from play as last junior champions dumped out the 13-time senior kingpins who were relegated from the top flight last year. Fittingly, Clifford brought the game to penalties with a superb equalising point to leave it 0-21 apiece after extra-time.
Fossa won the shootout 3-2 to leave themselves just 60 minutes away from back-to-back JFC and IFC successes.
