Tony McEntee will remain at the helm of the Sligo senior footballers for at least another season.

The Armagh All-Ireland winner was appointed on a three-year agreement when taking the reins in November 2020 and will fulfil that term, with the option of a year subject to review.

Joe Keane (assistant manager), Noel McGuire (selector), Paul Durcan (selector and goalkeeping coach) and Sean Boyle (strength and conditioning) will continue in their roles.

Meanwhile, Paul Henry has been announced as Sligo's new U20 football manager, replacing Dessie Sloyan, who guided the Yeats County to their first Connacht title in the grade earlier this season.

His backroom team will consist of Enda Mitchell, Colm McGee, Ross Donovan, JP Carden and Pat Kilcoyne.

Curry clubman Henry steps up to U20 level after a successful spell in charge of the county minors, which saw them end a 53-year wait for Connacht MFC honours in 2021.
