Goals win games as East Kerry proved on their way to winning back-to-back Kerry SFC titles at Austin Stack Park yesterday evening.
The holders found that killer touch at the start of the second-half when deadly duo David Clifford and Darragh Roche smashed home two goals within eight minutes of the resumption to effectively end Mid Kerry's hopes of a first county success in 12 years.
Yet, again, Kerry captain and man-of-the-match Clifford delivered a moment of magic by netting an unstoppable rocket with his apparently weaker right foot giving goalkeeper Stephen Cahillane no chance.
