Meath's Donal Keogan gets in his pass during the NFL Division 2 clash with Down at Pairc Tailteann

Last Sunday's Allianz Football League Division 2 draw with Down marked Donal Keogan's 130th senior appearance for Meath.

Since making his debut against UCD in the O'Byrne Cup 11 years ago, the half back has been the Royals' most consistent performer, with all but seven of his 130 appearances coming as a starter. Many long-time observers of the game would go as far as to say Keogan would get his place on any of the great Meath teams of the past.

He is also a great servant to his football club Rathkenny and hurling club Wolfe Tones, with whom he won a county IHC medal last year.

Meanwhile, Meath fans travelling to Bord na Mona O'Connor Park for Saturday's Allianz Football League Division 2 Round 4 basement clash with Offaly will have the opportunity to see the U20s in action against Laois en route.

The redeveloped St Finian's Park in Clonard will host the John Kerins Cup Round 2 tie at 12 noon, which means supporters will still have time to make it to Tullamore for the senior game at 2.30pm.
