Lucan Sarsfields are a win away from their first Dublin senior hurling championship final appearance in 11 years after seeing off Whitehall Colmcille by 0-25 to 2-13 this afternoon.

Charlie Carter’s men recovered from a shaky start at Parnell Park, where they fell 1-7 to 0-3 behind after 20 minutes, with an impressive second-half display which blew their opponents away in the end.

Jack Behan’s point in the 37th minute brought Sarsfields level (0-10 to 1-7) and they’d move towards a commanding 11-point lead with the help of points from Ben Coffey, Ciaran Dowling and Dublin star Paul Crummey.

Whitehall Colmcille did get a goal back via a Patrick Spellacy free, but it was a case of too little, too late as Sars advanced comfortably through to the last four.
