
The three Meath championship winners open their Leinster account this weekend while Ladies Schampions Royals Gaels head to Páirc de Búrca for a semi final date.
A strong second half performance from Intermediate championship winners Kilbride ensured that they are in the hat for the second round draw. The Meath champions playing against the wind were level at the break 1-6 to 2-3. A second goal from Conor McWeeney early in the second half put the Meath champions in control.
Clann na nGael made a comfortable start to their ~Leinster Junior campaign with 15 points to spare over Kilkenny Intermediate champions Glenmore at Pairc Tailteann. The Meath winners led 1-8 to 0-5 at the break and totally dominated the second half.

Fresh from their Keegan Cup final win over Ratoath, Summerhill enter the race for Provincial honours with a clash against Killoe Young Emmets. The Longford champions have also won the county Junior A and Junior C football titles.
Dunshaughlin Royals Gaels are one step away from a Leinster final but standing in their way this Sunday are reigning Provincial winners Kilmacud Crokes. The Dublin champions reached the All Ireland final last year losing out to Kilkerrin-Clonberne.
