Newly-crowned All-Ireland senior hurling champions Tipperary brought smiles to the faces of sick children this morning.

A wonderful annual GAA tradition by the All-Ireland champions, manager Liam Sheedy, captain Seamus Callanan and the rest of the Tipp players took time out from their celebrations to visit the wards of Crumlin Children's Hospital.

RTÉ's GAA commentator Marty Morrissey made an appearance too!

The Liam MacCarthy Cup is due to arrive back in Thurles later this evening for a homecoming party at Semple Stadium.
