Bobby O’Brien was a busy man last Sunday.
After welcoming a baby boy – Patrick James – that morning, he headed for Páirc Tailteann to line out for Ratoath in their Meath SFC semi-final against Na Fianna. The former county panellist capped an unforgettable day by scoring his side’s second goal in a 3-11 to 0-9 victory which keeps them on course for a SFC and SHC double.
Ratoath will face Trim in the SHC final next Sunday before taking on Summerhill in the big football decider the following weekend.
