All-Ireland winning Meath Ladies captain Máire O’Shaughnessy and former Meath captain Shane McEntee were married on Friday.
The popular couple were joined by family, friends and teammates to share their special day.
Donaghmore Ashbourne’s Máire O’Shaughnessy lifted the All-Ireland IFC trophy with the Meath ladies in 2020 and went on to win two senior All-Ireland titles in 2021 and ‘22, winning an All Star along the way.
Shane McEntee captained his county during a playing career that began under then manager Mick O’Dowd, continued under his father Andy and recently under Colm O’Rourke, and he is currently captain of his club Dunboyne.
