Eamon McGee doesn't expect Glen and Kilmacud Crokes to replay their All-Ireland club SFC final, despite backing the CCCC's decision to order a refixture.

Crokes won by two points, but had an extra man on the pitch defending a '45 in the closing stages. Having 16 players on the field is a breach of Rule 6.44, the penalties for which include the awarding of the game to the opposing team, for the game to be replayed, or a fine.

"I personally think the game should be played and both teams should just get on board the process now," the 2012 Donegal All-Ireland SFC winning defender told RTÉ's Morning Ireland.

"I know Kilmacud are going to appeal, but for me the issue is fairly black and white. There were 16 players so I don't see what way they would go with the appeal. So just play the game and see how things pan out.

"But I don't think the game will be played at all. I don't know is the appetite there in Kilmacud to play the game."
