Meath manager Cathal O Bric has named a new-look team as the Royals begin the defence of their Leinster MFC title this afternoon.

The holders hosts neighbours Louth at Pairc Tailteann, with a place in the final up for grabs on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Of the side that started the 2020 All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Derry two weeks ago, only full-back Liam Kelly and centre-forward Sean Emmanuel make the cut while midfielder Jack Kinlough came off the bench.

Louth, meanwhile, with back-to-back nine-point victories over Westmeath and Laois under their belts, will head to Navan full of confidence.

Meath (Leinster MFC v Louth): Oisin McDermott; Conor Ennis, Liam Kelly, Brian O'Halloran; Shaun Leonard, Tomas Corbett, Killian Smyth; Paul Wilson, Jack Kinlough; Andrew Moore, Sean Emmanuel, Conor McWeeney; Josh Harford, Oisin O Murchu, Hughie Corcoran.

Subs: Oisin Black, Danny Ehichoya, Rian McConnell, Christian Finlay, Sean O'Hare, John Mannion, Tadgh Martyn, Sean O'Regan, Sean Tyrell.
