TEG Cusack Park will be out of commission for the next couple of months while upgrade works costing €400,000 are carried out.
The works will include improvements to the dressing rooms, spectators’ toilets and referee’s room as well as the installation of LED lights and a new mechanical system. New seating was installed at the Mullingar venue two years ago, but the ground requires further modernising.
Works commenced immediately after last Sunday’s Leinster club SHC semi-final between Kilcormac/Killoughey and Castletown-Geoghegan, and are due to be completed before the start of the Allianz Leagues at the end of January.
