RTÉ to broadcast Cavan SFC final live next Saturday week

The Cavan senior football championship final will be broadcast live on RTÉ for the first time ever next Saturday, September 26th.
The decider at Kingspan Breffni had originally been fixed for the following day but has since been moved forward to Saturday week, with the national broadcaster confirming that they will show the game live on RTÉ 1 or RTÉ 2.
The news comes as a huge boost for Cavan fans as current restrictions do not permit any more than a crowd of 200 to enter a sporting event in a stadium with a capacity of 5,000 or more.
This Sunday sees both semi-finals in the race for the Oliver Plunkett Cup down for decision at Kingspan Breffni, with holders Castlerahan taking on Crosserlough (throw-in 2.30pm) and Cavan Gaels facing Kingscourt Stars (throw-in 7.30pm).
