A Laois SHC clash last Saturday was abandoned after a player suffered a serious injury.
Laois GAA has extended its best wishes to Clough-Ballacolla’s Tommy Brennan who sustained the injury during the Round 2 encounter with Borris-Kilcotton at Laois Hire O’Moore Park. The game was abandoned in the fifth minute with Clough-Ballacolla leading by 0-2 to 0-1. It was the final game of a hurling triple-header at the county grounds.
"Laois GAA send our best wishes and a speedy recovery to the injured Clough-Ballacolla player," a county board statement read.
The game was rescheduled for last night at the same venue with free entry and Clough-Ballacolla winning by 0-21 to 0-16.
