Cork star says ten years without mileage has cost her €25,000

Cork All-Ireland winner Orlagh Farmer has calculated what it has cost her in travelling expenses to represent her county for the past ten years.
The Womens Gaelic Players Association released The Levelling the Field Report yesterday which outlined the committment and expenses involved for players representing their county in Ladies Football or Camogie.
There is no milage paid for travelling to training but expenses have been introduced this year for match day travel.
The current rate for GAA players in 50c per mile and Farmer believes she would have been €25,000 better off based on representing Cork for the last ten years and travelling just 40 miles to training.
