Dublin hurling manager Niall Ó Ceallacháin expects to have a couple of key players back available for selection over “the next couple of weeks”.
The capital men slipped to their first loss in Division 1B of the Allianz League last weekend at the hands of Offaly and face a crunch clash with Waterford this Sunday at Walsh Park, where they’ll be hoping to get back to winning ways and boost their promotion hopes.
Speaking to Dubs TV, Ó Ceallacháin gave an update on the injuries to his squad which has saw stars like Danny Sutcliffe and Ronan Hayes yet to feature for his team in 2025.
"They're all with us, they're all in a good spot as regards the next couple of weeks," Ó Ceallacháin stated.
"Paddy (Doyle) and Cian (O’Sullivan) had hamstring injuries that had them off the pitch for a good while there. They're all in a good spot. All those lads we're looking forward to having them on the pitch and having the opportunity to perform over the next two to three weeks.”
Tweet"We've a big week ahead of us. There's a lot that we need to learn from last weekend. There'll be lots more opportunities for lads in the next couple of weeks..."
