Clare boss Brian Lohan paid tribute to a 'well drilled' Cork team in the wake of his side's All-Ireland SHC qualifier defeat to the Rebels.
The Banner County's involvement in this year's championship came to an end yesterday evening when going down fighting to the Rebels at the LIT Gaelic Grounds, and afterwards their manager did not not want to make any excuses.
Instead, the two-time All-Ireland winner heaped praise on the victors.
"They have been a credit to themselves, their clubs and the county..."

"We did a lot of things right. In fairness to Cork, they're a good team," he told Sky Sports.
"They are very well coached, very well drilled and there is some exceptional players on that Cork team. We could nit-pick at small things but I don't think that would be right. We say well done to Cork.
Lohan was proud of his players for the way they have conducted themselves.
"They worked hard all year. They have been excellent. Whether it's been in the gym or out on the field, they've done everything we've asked them to do. They''ve been a credit to themselves, their clubs and the county I think."
