Death of Caltra and Britain GAA stalwart Tadhg Meehan

The late Tadhg Meehan was an uncle of the Meehan brothers of Caltra and Galway football fame.
One of Britain's most-respected GAA administrators has passed away.
Tadhg Meehan was a former Provincial Council of Britain secretary and treasurer, serving at the top table for 28 years. Also a former chairman of Lancashire GAA, the Caltra native was an uncle of the Meehan brothers of Caltra and Galway football fame.
Tadhg's commitment to Gaelic games was recognised at the 2015 GAA President's Awards at Croke Park where he was the recipient of the Lifetime Recognition award.
