The Cork senior football championship final has been put back to October 11th after two of the competition’s quarter-finals were postponed this past weekend due to positive Covid-19 cases.
Last night saw Cork’s Competition’s Control Committee (CCC) release an updated county championship programme which schedules the senior championship final for Sunday fortnight at 4.00pm.
The postponed quarter-final fixture between St Finbarr’s and Newcestown has now been set for Wednesday, September 30th while holders Nemo Rangers and Ballincollig will play their re-fixed clash this coming Sunday.
Last year’s beaten finalists Duhallow and Castlehaven await in the semi-finals which are scheduled for Sunday, October 4th at Pairc Ui Rinn.

TweetOur members have been amazing throughout this crisis, and if we want to keep playing our games, we must continue to play our part in physical distancing, reducing social contacts and taking all other measures to control the spread of Covid-19. We can do this @OfficialCorkGAA #GAA
