Clare manager Brian Lohan has suffered a blow in the lead up to this evening All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Clare with the loss of centre-back John Conlon through injury.

There had been rumours today that an injury to Conlon would not see him be fit to take part in the showdown with the Leinster champions this evening.

It has since been confirmed that Paidi Fitzpatrick will start in place of the injured Clonlara clubman whose is undoubtedly a big blow to the Banner men.

Throw-in at Croke Park is at 5.30pm.
