Cavan In New York.

Have to be careful with my comments here so as not to upset Sceptical.
Now that the dust had settled on div 2 season and that our status has been achieved we will really find out where this Cavan team stands when we play Monaghan in the championship. If we win and comprehensively so would suggest we can hopefully push on and have a reasonably good championship.
If we loose even by the slimmest margin like last time we met will players jump ship for the qualifiers. If that is the case I would be concerned as to where were headed in the future.

Fred.... Not a bit sad but just realistic... The sad ones are those who are lauding this type of football... If Hyland is doing such a wonderfull job and we are progressing so much we should have no bother disposing of Monaghan in the first rd seeing they were lucky to beat us in the semi 2 years ago...? I hope to God I am proven wrong and we do get over Monaghan but a defeat will be the last straw for a lot of people as regards this sterile set-up...

Sean Sean Sean, we all know if Cavan beat Monaghan one of three things will happen with respect to you. 1) You will go missing and we won't hear from you until our next defeat. 2) You will declare Monaghan to be 'has beens' that we should be beating anyway or 3) You will say it is a fluke.
One thing for sure you won't be giving out any credit to team or management

Not beating Monaghan, who have been in the last 2 Ulster FInals, Ulster Champions 2 years ago, Quarter Finalists last year, currently playing a Division 1 Semi Final will be "the last straw"... Jesus wept. You've lost all grip on reality??

Are we travelling back in time and playing the Monaghan from 2013? It's mad how Hyland's successful reign as manager brings out such jealousy and bitterness in grown men.
