Senior Men

Our Senior men return to ACFL Division 2 League action this Saturday July 17 when we host our neighbours Butlersbridge at 5pm in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

Cavan Seniors

Hard luck to Cavan who bowed out of Championship on Saturday last losing to Tyrone by 1-18 to 0-13 in Omagh. 

 

Senior Ladies

Well done to our Senior Ladies on their 2-13 to 3-6 win over Lavey in the Reserve Division 2 League on Sunday last in Rory O'Moore Park. Belturbet travel to Annalee Park this Sunday July 18 to face Ballyhaise at 12 noon. 

 

Senior Ladies and Men Championship Draw

Belturbet ladies have been paired with St.Killians and Arva/Killeshandra in the Intermediate Group stages and Belturbet men will face Cuchulainns in Round 1. 

 

Cavan Minor Ladies

Well done to Gemma Beatty, Laura Brown and the Cavan Minor Ladies on their 6-27 to 1-4 win over Fermanagh in Round 1 of the Ulster Minor Championship on Wednesday last.  Cavan play host to Monaghan in Rory O'Moore Park this evening at 7.30 pm with the game being broadcast live on Facebook. 

 

Cavan Ladies

Hard luck to the Cavan Ladies who suffered a 1-18 to 0-15 loss to Mayo in the TG4 Senior ladies Championship on Saturday last. Cavan play Armagh this Saturday at 2pm in Clones. 

 

Cavan U16 Girls

Well done to Aoibhinn Smith and the Cavan U16 Girls on their 13-23 to 1-4 win over Fermangah in the U16 Championship on Friday last.

 

Cavan U20s 

Hard luck to the Cavan U20s who suffered a  2-17 to 0-9 defeat to Down last Friday in the U20 Ulster Championship Quarter Final in Kingspan Breffni. 

 

Reserve League

Well done to our lads who picked up an impressive 5-15 to 1-7 win over Denn on Sunday last in the ACFL Reserve Division 2 League in Rory O'Moore Park. Fionan bagged a brace of goals in the first half with Colum netting the other and we had an array of point scorers in the first half with Colum, Gareth, Fionan and Brian to the fore. Leading by 3-9 to 1-4 at half time the Rorys continued to drive home their advantage going on to score another 2-6 with Donal and Gareth bagging two thunderbolt goals. In what was a good team performance all around special mention must go to Jack and Gussie who performed excellently on their debuts.

U13s

Our U13s were awarded the points from their scheduled game with Cavan Gaels as they could not field a team. 

 

U15s

Our U15s picked up an impressive  6-16 to 2-6 win over Drumlane yesterday evening in O'Connell Park, Milltown in the Division 3 League.  Our U15s host Knockbride this Saturday July 17 at 1pm in the Division 3 League in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U14 Girls

Best of luck to our U14 Girls who face Arva/Killeshandra this evening Wednesday  in the Division 3 League Semi Final in Packie Devlin Park. 

 

U12 Girls

Our U12 girls lost to Drumlane by 0-13 to 0-8 in the U12 Division 3 League on Friday evening last in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

Club Membership    

Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet.  If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2021 can be paid  to our club chairman Paul O'Reilly, Vice-Chairman Mark Lawlor or indeed any of the club committee.
