Senior Men

Best of luck to our Senior men and management of Fra and Peter who get the Division 2 League season underway this Saturday June 19 when they host Shercock at 5pm in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

Congrats Chops and Sheena

Congratulations, from all at the club, to club stalwart, Kevin ‘Chops’ McConnell and his wife, Sheena, on the birth of their baby girl! We wish the McConnell clan every health, happiness and success and look forward to seeing another McConnell don the famous maroon and white. 

 

Cavan Ladies

Hard luck to the  Cavan Ladies who were defeated by Meath by 0-13 to 0-9 on Saturday  last  in the Division 2B League Semi Final in Kingspan Breffni. Cavan Ladies play Donegal this Saturday June 19 at 5pm in the Ulster Senior Championship Semi Final in Kingspan Breffni. 

 

Cavan Seniors

Cavan suffered a 3-11 to 0-18 defeat to  Wicklow last Saturday in Navan which consigns them to Division 4 League Football in 2022.   

 

U17s

Our U17s host Cootehill tomorrow evening Thursday in the Division 3 League at 7pm in Rory O'Moore Park. They then face Cuchulainns on Tuesday next in Edwin Carolan Community Park. 

 

Reserve League

Belturbet are due to face Killinkere this Sunday June 20 at 2pm in Jim Smith Memorial Park in the Division 2 Reserve League. 

 

U13 Boys

Our U13s lost by 9-13 to 1-9 yesterday evening in the U13 9-A-Side League in Michael Cully Park. 

 

Belturbet U16 Girls

Well done to the Belturbet U16 girls who defeated  Castlerahan/Denn by 3-9 to 1-5 on Friday evening last in Rory O'Moore Park. Our U16 Girls travel to Emmett Park this Friday June 18 to take on Butlersbridge at 6.30 pm.

 

U15 Boys

OurU15s lost to Templeport on Saturday last in the Division 3 League opener  in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U14 Girls

Our U14 girls play Mountnugent/Munterconnacht this evening Wednesday at 7pm in the Division 3 League in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U12 Girls

Our U12 Girls were defeated by 0-25 to 0-7 by Ballyhaise in the opening round of the Division 3 U12 League in Annalee Park on Saturday last.  Our U12 Girls host Butlersbridge at 2.30 pm this Saturday June 19 in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

Belturbet Ladies

Belturbet ladies suffered a 3-7 to 0-4 loss to Crosserlough in the Division 2 Reserve League on Sunday last in Rory O'Moore Park. Belturbet travel to Sheelin Park this Sunday June 20 to face Ballymachugh at 11am.  

 

Club Membership    

Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet.  If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2021 can be paid  to our club chairman Paul O'Reilly, Vice-Chairman Mark Lawlor or indeed any of the club committee.
