The Birr team that took place in the Under 8 blitz in Kinnitty.
Under 8
Our under 8 girls had a great morning in Kinnitty on Saturday. Thanks to all in Kinnitty Camogie Club for hosting the blitz.
Under 12
Well done to our under 12 girls who had a great win over St Rynaghs last Thursday
Under 16
Hard luck to our under 16s who were defeated by St Rynaghs in the under 16 league. Final score was St Rynaghs 5-9, Birr 2-10
Senior league
Hard luck to our senior/junior girls who were defeated by Shinrone last Saturday evening. Final score Shinrone 2-8 Birr 0-3. The final round of the league will be played on Thursday evening against Naomh Bríd.
Inter county
Congratulations to the Offaly Under 16s who won against Carlow at the weekend. Special mention to our two club girls, Roisin Kinsella and Aoibhe Carey. They now qualify for the All Ireland semi-final.
