Davy Glennon will make his Westmeath debut against his former Galway side when they meet in the Allianz Hurling League at TEG Cusack Park tomorrow afternoon.

The Mullagh man declared for the Lake County under the parental rule last year but has had to wait longer than expected for his debut with his adopted county after his transfer failed to go through before the start of the 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup.

Glennon, who ironically made his Galway debut in the league against Westmeath, has been picked at midfield by manager Shane O'Brien.

Westmeath (Allianz HL Division 1 v Galway): Eoin Skelly; Darragh Egerton, Tommy Doyle, Conor Shaw; Alan Cox, Aaron Craig, Derek McNicholas; Robbie Greville, Davy Glennon; Joey Boyle, Ciaran Doyle, Jack Galvin; Niall O'Brien, Darragh Clinton, Shane Williams.

Subs: Noel Conaty, Tommy Gallagher, Brendan Doyle, Kevin Regan, Peadar Scally, Jack Gillen, Shane Clavin, Josh Coll, Ciaran Nolan, Eoghan Ahearn, Niall Mitchell.
