Glen will face All-Ireland champions Kilcoo in the Ulster club senior football championship final after seeing off a stern challenge from Cargin by 1-10 to 0-8 in Omagh.

Danny Tallon’s penalty in the closing stages at Healy Park saw the Derry champions win out by five in the end but they were pushed all the way by their Antrim counterparts.

Tallon (2) and star man Conor Glass fired first-half point that helped Malachy O’Rourke’s men lead by 0-5 to 0-2 at the break.

Cargin kept the heat on the favourites throughout the second-half though, with Ciaran Bradley’s point making it a one-point game headed into the final quarter.

With four minutes remaining, the margin stood at two prior to a pair of Emmett Bradley frees and Tallon’s well struck penalty at the death sealing the win for Glen.

The Watty Graham now look forward to next month's mouth-watering provincial decider against Kilcoo who comfortably accounted for Enniskillen Gaels last night.
