Dunloy's dominance of Antrim hurling continued today as they completed a four-in-a-row of senior hurling championship titles.

The Cuchullains were made work hard for their 1-20 to 2-11 victory over Cushendall at Corrigan Park and it wasn't secured until the very end when Chrissy McMahon grabbed their second goal.

2018 champions Cushendall were handed a brilliant start, Cormac McClafferty's goal put them into an early 0-1 to 1-2 lead, and they kept their noses in front at the break (0-11 to 2-6) after Sean McAfee netted their second.

But the defending champions eventually took control of the game, with Conal Cunning (0-11, ten placed balls) and Keelan Molloy finding their range, and substitute McMahon having the final say.

Dunloy now advance directly to the Ulster club SFC final where they will face either Portaferry or Slaughtneil on the weekend of December 4.

Meanwhile, Middletown Na Fianna are celebrating a fourth successive Armagh SHC success after seeing off neighbours Keady by 1-19 to 2-12 at the Athletic Grounds.

An upset had looked to be on the cards when Connor Renaghan's goal left Lámh Dhearg sitting comfortably on a 0-2 to 1-6 lead after 10 minutes.

However, the holders dragged themselves to the front by half-time (0-11 to 1-7) with nine unanswered points.

Then ten minutes after the restart, Ryan Gaffney bagged the crucial goal that would keep Middletown on course to retain the Jimmy Carlisle Cup.
