The second staging of the Adam Mangan Memorial Cup and Shield will take place in Offaly today.

The tournament, which has become the main competition for inter-county U15 football teams from all over Ireland, is named after former Offaly underage star Adam Mangan, who was tragically killed in a farm accident in October 2015. The Kilclonfert youngster was a county minor in 2013 and '14, and was also a talented rugby player.

The counties competing for the Adam Mangan Memorial Cup are: Armagh, Kerry 1, Kerry 2, Dublin, Roscommon, Down, Louth, Cork, Meath, Sligo, Offaly, Westmeath, Laois, Cavan, Monaghan and Kildare.

Meanwhile, the Adam Mangan Memorial Shield will feature teams from Galway North, Clare, Cork, Galway South, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Longford, Limerick, Carlow, Wexford and Dublin.
The Cup and Shield finals will be held simultaneously in Bord na Mona O'Connor Park and Kilclonfert at 4pm.
