Donegal falls to Rangers in NY GAA Intermediate K/O Final

04 June 2012
Donegal New York's quest for the NY GAA Intermediate Knock-out crown ran into a Rangers team determined to play their best, especially on giving Donegal a 3-0 lead after two minutes. A hard fought match that saw neither cards nor penalties from Referee Alan hearty ended Rangers 0-19, Donegal 0-16. Played on a greasy pitch in constant rain with a slick ball, it nevertheless was a good 60 minutes of football. Now its on into the Championship, starting Tuesday 5th June with Kerry at 8 pm, and a campaign for the silverware and return to Senior level for Bainisteoir Pat McGill's Donegal NY lads.
