Holders Navan O'Mahonys are out of the race for the hoganstand.com Meath Senior Football Championship. The three-in-a-row chasing side were defeated by Dunshaughlin in a winners take all encounter.

There was better news for Navan side Simonstown as they overcame Na Fianna to clinch a place in the knockout stages. Last year's semi finalists Gaeil Colmcille are into the quarter final after a win over Blackhall Gaels. Wolfe Tones are in the relegation playoffs with Ballinlough and Duleek-Bellewstown, after losing to Moynalvey.

Skryne earned a quarter-final place after they edged out Rathkenny.

In the Intermediate Football Championship, St Colmcilles overcame a stern test from last year's JFC winners Curraha in Duleek.

Bective claimed the Junior A football championship title while Na Fianna were too strong for Dunsany in the Junior C decider.
