U14 HL: Goals crucial as Kiltale take title

Kiltale captain Gavin McVann raises the U14 HL Division 2 Cup at Pairc Tailteann.

Kiltale 3-4 Boardsmill 0-8

Kiltale claimed the Meath Under 14 B hurling league title with five point win over Boardsmill in damp conditions in Pairc Tailteann

The eventual winners got off to a great start getting two quick goals one from Conor Duffy and one from Donal Matthews.

Kiltale were driven forward by captain Gavin McVann at fullback while Luke Moran was outstanding at centre back throughout the game.

At midfield Kiltale lads Donal Matthews and Eoghan Frayne had to work hard against a very strong Boardsmill midfield partnership.

Up front for Kiltale Evan Clarke, Dean Quinn and Conor Duffy got the important scores.
