Dublin All Star footballers Alan and Bernard Brogan have scored off the pitch with the purchase of a hotel in Co. Meath.

Along with their father Bernard Snr, the brothers have taken ownership of the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne. They are reported to have paid almost €8 million for the four-star hotel which first opened its doors in 2007 and boasts 148 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, gym, swimming pool and conference rooms.
