Irrespective of who wins, a long wait for glory will come to an end today. The Tribesmen have to go back almost three decades - 1988 - to the last time they took the silverware west of the Shannon. Na Deise, meanwhile, are trying to bridge a gap of almost six decades - they won their last senior All-Ireland way back in 1959.
