The Ryan family's fingerprints were all over Garryspillane's 2-12 to 0-12 victory over Bruff in today's Limerick Premier IHC final at Kilmallock.

Former Limerick manager TJ Ryan was at the Garryspillane helm, his brothers David and Donie lined out at full back and centre forward respectively, while his son Colin excelled at midfield. David was the team captain, while former county star Donie top-scored with 0-8.

Goals at the beginning of each half from corner forward Callum Sheehan were central to Garryspillane's win as they regained senior status after a four-year lapse. The winners led by 1-7 to 0-5 at the break, with Shane Bulfin and Tony Burke combining for Bruff's entire first half total.
