It was a busy Sunday afternoon in the national football league with a dozen games down for decision around the country.

Some of the stand-out fixtures today included Donegal against Cork and Kerry V Roscommon in Division One; the Division Two meeting of Galway and Tyrone (both of whom have silverware in the bag already this season!) at Salthill; and the all-Leinster clash of Kildare and Offaly in Division Three.

With points at a premium, all 24 teams were hoping to secure positive results in their quests to secure promotion and / or avoid relegation.
