Mary Hulgraine has been named as 'The Croke Park' Player of the Month for September rounding off an incredible month for the Kildare goalkeeper. Mary was one of the heroes of Kildare's TG4 Intermediate All Ireland win and was named as player of the match after producing a string of vital saves.

The Leixlip club player produced one of the most outstanding goalkeeping displays seen in Croke Park on TG4 All Ireland Finals day and has since gone on to be named as one of the three nominees for the 2016 TG4 All Stars goalkeeping position.

Mary was one of the players that was not available for Kildare in 2015 and proved to be a vital addition to the panel when she made herself available for selection earlier this year. Despite playing initially as a forward she has since gone on to become one of the most outstanding goalkeepers in the country as she proved when pulling off a vital penalty save in their TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Final win over Clare.
