Boyle expects tough Leitrim test

Fermanagh ladies joint-manager Darren Boyle is expecting a tough test against Leitrim in Group A of the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate championship.
Speaking after his team had secured a 3-13 to 3-8 opening round win over Limerick last Sunday, Boyle predicted that Leitrim - who the Ernesiders will face on Sunday week - will provide a sterner examination of his team's credentials.
"They will be a stiffer challenge," he told the Fermanagh Herald. "They feel they should have been in an All-Ireland final last year after pushing Monaghan in to extra-time."
Overall, Boyle was pleased with the side's performance against Limerick but he identified one area where they will need to improve if they are to safely negotiate the Leitrim hurdle.
"I thought we played well enough but the worrying thing for us was for 10 minutes after half-time we couldn't get the ball over the bar when we had five or six chances to stretch our lead, so we'll have to work on that for the next week."
