VIDEO: McGing family thanks LGFA
06 July 2012
Dublin ladies impressed when they claimed the Aisling McGing Cup and for the McGing family, there was much appreciation towards the efforts of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association.
Aisling passed away in 2003, at 18-years-of-age having been involved in a car accident. An All-Ireland winner with Mayo, she was on her way to see her sisters line out for the county.
Her father Jimmy was full of praise for the efforts of the LGFA in remembering his daughter through the Memorial Championship in her name.
In the video we hear from Jimmy, Dublin veteran Ann-Marie Cahill McBarron and Dublin Player of the Match Hannah Tyrell.
