The Galway ladies take on Mayo in this Sunday's Connacht final hoping to avenge their Division 2 league final defeat at the hands of their neighbours earlier this year.

The match will be Gabrial Naughton's first game in charge, and the panel has transformed since his appointment. Annette Clarke, Lorna Joyce, Aine Seoighe, Marian Hernon, Joanna Connolly, Edel Concannon, Maria Connell, Roisin Leonard, and Niamh Duggan are all names which have returned to the fold.

Lisa Leonard is unavailable as she picked up a shoulder injury two weeks ago with muscle and ligament damage.

There is a question mark over Emer Falherty's availability also as she only returns from holidays on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Gabrial Naughton said: "We are shaping up ok, Its going to be difficult, it would have been nice to have had more time but we will see what we can do."

The game takes place at McHale Park, Castlebar and throw-in is at 4pm.
