Longford ladies boss Diane O'Hora is looking forward to the Wicklow game.

The midlanders collected the national league Division Four title in their last competitive outing last month but O'Hora admits changes are on the cards for Saturday's Leinster intermediate championship opener at Arklow.

"I'm looking forward to it," she tells The Longford Leader. "We are anxious to get back playing competitive games after playing a few challenges.

"You have got a league team and then a championship team and that's what I have been using the challenge games for.

"I have been building a championship team since the league campaign came to a conclusion.

"I'd expect there will be four changes in personnel to the side that started the league final.

"You pick a team to play a team; it depends on how things go.

"I have been trying out a few things in the build-up to the Wicklow match and our preparations are going well."
