According to reports, there were unsavoury scenes as referee David Gough made his way off the Croke Park pitch today.
A number of journalists have claimed that the Meath official had objects thrown at him by a number of Kerry supporters.
Kingdom manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice refused to comment on the referee's performance in his post-match interview but Gough was singled out for praise by RTE pundit Pat Spillane after the final whistle.
