Templenoe (Kerry) 4-13
Ardnaree Sarsfields (Mayo) 1-10

Ardnaree Sarsfields finished second best to Templenoe in today's All-Ireland Club JFC final at Croke Park.

A hat-trick of goals from Stephen O'Sullivan put down a large deposit on the Kerry side's success while Brian Crowley also got in on the goal scoring act.

In an entertaining final, the first-half finished with Templenoe 2-9 to 1-7 to the good.

With Killian Spillane very much to the fore, Templenoe raced into a 0-6 to 0-2 by the 11th minute and O'Sullivan pounced for his first goal in the 18th minute.

Ronan O'Malley replied at the other end of the field for the Mayo men soon after to make it a two point game but Templenoe finished the half strongly with Crowley finding the back of the Mayo outfit's net.

The second-half was only in its infancy when O'Sullivan raised his second green flag while his third put the game beyond Ardnaree's reach and ignited joyous scenes of celebration amongst the Kerry club's support, which included their most famous son, Pat Spillane.

Pat Spillane junior came off the bench to kick a point three minutes from full-time.
