What are peoples thoughts on this, the forgotten game of this weekend. Tipp look a very strong outfit, and beat Galway easily when both teams met at u16 level, but on paper it looks a really really strong Galway team. I'm expecting a cracker and while Galway havn't been really tested yet, I'm hopeful we can edge it!

Just posted about this game on our own site, hard to know which way it will go. As for Tipp there is no talk about this minor team I think most people are unsure about them. I hear this is suppose to be one of the best Galway minor teams, I know they are all good but I am hearing a lot about this bunch.

Very hard to say as you never know with Minors, plus its the age old problem of Galway coming into a huge game without a provincial campaign behind them. In fairness it hasn't stopped them before, although the Minors and U-21s going into Leinster is definitely something that needs to be looked at whenever the review of Galway playing in Leinster happens. On their provincial form you would probably have to back Tipp, plus Galway fans are fed up seeing All Ireland winning Minor and U-21 teams, and would much rather a senior success this year!!

Jazus Gilly will you get a grip, I for one will never say I'm fed up with success at minor or U21 level.

From TB? You havin' a laugh?
Anyhoo, I see Dublin will play the winners of this and as a neutral I kinda hope they win it out, given how hard Dublin have worked on their hurling over the years.
I'm very open to correction on this but am I right in saying that the Dublin minors have lost the last 2 minor AI finals?

Good game. Some excellent passing on both sides.
Gigoer, Dublin are in second final in a row. To be honest, they will need to massively improve to live with either of these.

I reckon its curtains for Galway now, Tipp are cruising over the line, winning every loose ball. Thats a great Tipp team should be a cracking final.

Some decent hurlers out there. Sending off disgraceful. In truth I don't think it affected the result, Tipp were the better team.

Think the red card was harsh and a turning point
But fair play to both teams for a great spectacle

Firstly congrats to Tipp, better team won and wish them the best in the final.
That said, to say the sending off was a joke is an understatement. Neither of the yellow cards was a free, never mind a card, and to send off a minor and captain of the team in that manner is undefendable for a referee.
