Mayo are a far bigger threat than Cork in the All-Ireland series. It would be preferable to have them gone or playing a replay the week before their quarter final.

Hey listen I've done nothing but told the truth on this thread I'm afraid you're just going off on one here and there's probably nothing I could say You unfairly cane on the attack and with someone with an obvious high moral code well you're very much in the wrong here Thankfully it looks like we've jumped the gun anyway. Several accounts now saying it was only 2 minutes of injury time Just thought that if 30 seconds were incorrectly denied to Cork that it would have been very unfair on Cork. I'd have thought the same of it was the other way around jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 22/07/2017 23:19:37 2021313 Link 3 |
Nothing to lodge a complaint about fantastic game all ill say is where the hell did that performance from cork come from. it was great to see the fight and spirit they showed today hopefully it can bring them on again next season, sorry to hear the manager step down but hopefully now the cork public realise that they have a decent football team and this team needs support because no doubt the mayo fans today gave them the extra bit of energy to get them over the line and well down the few hundred cork supporters who did turn up mrsme (USA) - Posts: 172 - 22/07/2017 23:19:43 2021314 Link 0 |
I know That's why I want them playing Kerry :) jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 22/07/2017 23:20:43 2021315 Link 2 |
I've joined Hoganstand a few weeks ago and but have been reading threads here for 6/7 years. In all your 17,000 plus posts JimboDub i've never once read any worthwhile neutral comment from you. Most commentators here take the blinkers off and enjoy a neutral game for what it is. But you seem to have no interest in gaelic games for the games themselves but just an agenda all the time. Cork folk are too decent and sporting to lodge any appeals , Mayo could win the Al ireland from here, stranger things have happened. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 2746 - 22/07/2017 23:30:54 2021325 Link 1 |

So just because you haven't seen the hundreds of neutral comments in your short time You think they don't exist Again.. That level of ignorance is hard to debate with jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 22/07/2017 23:37:29 2021334 Link 4 |
Yeh that Sindarella lad would want to calm down a bit and stop being such a drama queen :)

We get a scenario like this every summer where theres calls for a game to replayed. But no one learns that its only Meath who will ever be on the recieving end of a sustained campaign to try and gulit us into one. RoyalBadger (Meath) - Posts: 571 - 22/07/2017 23:39:51 2021339 Link 0 |
If you were not wumming and were actually serious then can't really take you serious on any topic.

Man Like most.. Sometimes we all WUM a bit but Jaysus it should be obvious enough here Of course I want Mayo in good shape to take on Kerry! Honestly wasn't and there's a few here that are really amusing me at present jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 22/07/2017 23:50:39 2021348 Link 2 |
Well said , the gaa should come on and make a statement regarding this, as the amount of abuse on here is ridiculous, if it was 2 minutes he actually did cork a favour by giving them 30 secs extra , I wonder if they do say it was 2 minutes will there be as many people giving there all saying apologies!!!!

As a neutral the referee was excellent today. Let the game flow, very little free kicks, just look at the scoreline. That tells you how entertaining the game was

Standard of refereeing wasn't great to be fair. Guys on SKY stated that Brannigan had a good game. Felt he was put under undue pressure from what was on paper a far superior Mayo side. Ref did blow early but I think impetus was with Mayo who are generally masters at keep ball. ClonardGael (Meath) - Posts: 75 - 23/07/2017 00:04:17 2021359 Link 0 |
And he admits in the end he was Wumming, really wanting Mayo to lose! As if the little threads he starts will have any bearing on the Championship. Laois76 (Laois) - Posts: 1270 - 23/07/2017 00:09:14 2021363 Link 6 |
