Replying To Meath_True:  "if that's the case then bear 10 , don't be worrying about how Dublin do it , how many coaches , GDOs they have , how much money is invested . In truth , don't give a hoot that we have been in a prolonged Dip until now ..
Just get on with it . focus on self ..... and it matters not that other people are getting results from what they do ... we'll ignore that and plough on .
As the saying goes "If you don't change what your doing , why then do you expect a change in what you are achieving ".....
We would be better served by developing larger number so players than we do ."
Not worryiing about Dublin . Best championship team starts according to management at this given moment in time as this is not a trial game

Would be absolutely fantastic to win this on Saturday. These lads are more than capable of doing it.... however they can't just 'presume' they will beat Dublin again. The county needs to start winning underage titles again and have 2 opportunities to do so this weekend. Let's lay down a marker.

Depressed reading the negativity. Minors reached Minor League final and We're in two additional underage finals in the summer. U17 is a special leinster final which includes all counties except Kilkenny and GR is effectively a Leinster final with only major underage Leinster co missing from GR tournament now is Kildare. Well done to both panels on making the finals. One final would be good but two distinct panels reaching two finals is probably the best underage performance in years. Best of luck to both sides at the weekend. I'm sure some of the players read the comments you write and I'm sure it's Meath supporters support and backing they want. Two trophies at underage would be a sign of significant progress. Tell Kerry that the three AI minors theyve won don't count or aren't important!

Both the U16 & U17 panels are well able to come home this weekend with the Cups under their arms . They are both two very good panels and have beaten their opposition on many occasions over the years ( and not only at U17 /U16 Level ) Dublin & Monaghan . They have the skill power and know how to do just that , so from all corners of Meath lets make this weekend a great one for the County Footballers , from Drogheda to Oldcastle to Nowlan Park Kilkenny , Let the Royal roar be heard , THE END.

absolutely, and if the u17's do win it,they will have to beat dublin(twice) and kildare which would add to the achievement.

Watch out for him tomorro the lesser known seldom spotted but often heard the untrue or false one. He be the one smiling tru gritted teeth if meath do well or if the opposite he will be have a big sad face but on closer inspection will have smiling eyes. He will stand about consoling anyone who will listen to him saying I told you so. He normally can be seen in green and can be recognised by his hard neck.

Great win the Meath defenders gave the team the platform to win the game. Fair play to all involved. Nice to beat Dublin.

Well said sir, I couldn't make the game but I understand it was a fine advertisement for underage football in both counties, delighted with the success considering the team had to beat Kildare and the Dubs twice to succeed, very positive developments at underage in the county.

What a game and what an atmosphere. As a young lad this is what I was told Meath Dublin finals are like. Unreal crowd, massive hits. McBride and Costello the two under 16's were brilliant, Sean Ryan did a brilliant job on Archer. Our first underage title since 08 it's a big deal. Tyrone now next Saturday. A quick turnaround but a big game
