Waterford v Cork.

Waterford will want this more. Lost last 2 semis, beaten by Cork already and Galway waiting for a memorable final. Cork to wait for another year.

They are expecting all the seating tickets to sell out for this. With a good crowd on hill 16 i'd expect 75k+ at this. Should b a cracker.

ill refer you to this very thread in regards to a team who "wants " it more or whatever...these players are basically professional athletes... From the dublin footballers to the leitrim hurlers any player representing their county want to win each game and dedicate a large percentage of their lives to this goal...the fact that waterford have played here and have lost twice in the last two years should and will have no bearing on this game..it will all come down to the team best prepared and whoever performs on the day as i'm 100% sure the hunger to win is absolutely equal on both sides,as it should be..its an all ireland semi final to say one team wants it more than the other is rediculous

Replying To clondalkindub:  "I would love it love it if Waterford win Sunday, I can't help it I'll always have a soft spot for the Waterford senior hurling team from Big Dan to Maurice to Mullane (i's love my county) to Austin Glesson (potentially the greatest hurler of all time) I just love something about Waterford hurling team.

Also I've seen Cork win All Ireland's a good few times in my lift time I've never seen Waterford or Galway win so it would be great to see new winners this year."
Hold on, this went 6 days without someone challenging that Austin Gleeson is potentially the greatest hurler ever! That had to be a joke right?

This could go either way. Waterford will be hungrier but Cork have gained back that belief. It's hard to know whether the KK match showed waterford as being mentally weak or strong but I think if Cork are within touching distance with ten minutes left then waterford will fold. Waterford are better suited to chasing a game.

I guess Fives will take up the De Búrca role and Bennett will play as an orthodox wing back. If he does start, it will be a baptism of fire against that cork half forward line.

Can't see anything other than a Cork victory here but I wouldn't begrudge waterford if they got on up on us, would make for an incredible final.

Could go either way but you can't see anything other than a Cork victory. That doesn't quite add up.

I think Cork will win but wouldn't be blown away with surprise if Waterford were to do it. Like most hurling AI semi finals. Simples.

I see it differently; a comfortable win for Cork.

Austin Gleeson grab the face mask and pulled the helmet off. Should miss Waterfords miss match if the rules are implemented fairly.

Gleeson is some clown. If they win he's almost guaranteed to be suspended. Agree with the rule or not it was blatant and the rule and sanction are clear. And is not like he can claim he didn't know the rule.

Touhy for away with it coz the way the helmet was pushed off u couldn't be sure it was deliberate. He was lucky. Gleeson gripped the bars. Not a chance of getting off.

You would have to question the mentality of players that do that. Putting team at risk for nothing.

And now a moment of absolute stupidity by Conor Gleason to get himself sent off when the game was already wrapped up. Unbelievable.

He'll claim it was accidental and get away with it. So will Conor Gleeson.
