After seeing Dublin hammering monaghan and Tyrone hammer armagh today, I think there is nothing between Dublin and Tyrone. It will be some semi-final.... Donegal_D (Donegal) - Posts: 61 - 05/08/2017 19:05:16 2029386 Link 0 |
Dublin by between 8 and 12 points better than Tyrone. 2 shocking games today. The lack of physicality is a joke. It's going non contact like soccer. Time to bring in the drag down tackle that works well in the compromise rules

Looking forward to the Tyrone Dublin Semi Final which should be a good game. tyroneed (Tyrone) - Posts: 753 - 05/08/2017 19:52:50 2029407 Link 1 |
I think it is very hard for teams coming out of the qualifiers, both Armagh andTyrone looked very flat and tired this evening gunman (Donegal) - Posts: 1049 - 05/08/2017 20:27:54 2029430 Link 0 |
Feels like it might be a tight competitive game, looking forward to this. Commodore (Donegal) - Posts: 1089 - 05/08/2017 20:28:55 2029431 Link 0 |
The fact that Harte didn't start Mulgrew (a scoring forward) doesn't bode well for the Dublin game - shows a severe lack of ambition and let's remember we were only playing Armagh! sam2008 (Tyrone) - Posts: 796 - 05/08/2017 20:29:50 2029433 Link 1 |
Not saying that Tyrone will beat Dublin but they will give them a serious reality check to what they are used to. The result will depend on how they respond to that. The favourable odds at the bookies are all on Tyrone's side for sure. benjyyy (Donegal) - Posts: 1422 - 05/08/2017 20:32:06 2029434 Link 0 |
What championship restructure would you do? Have a 4 team All Ireland. There's going to be hammerings, there just aren't that many top teams right now. No restructuring could change that.

I'd expect it to be keenly contested but the Dubs will pull away in the last 1/4 and win by 5 or 6 points. Peter Harte won't; be let look so good when his runs are actually tracked. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 05/08/2017 20:49:12 2029448 Link 1 |
Should be a great game , both teams evenly matched , can play attacking football or defensive , both teams extremely fit with intelligent management teams , also two sets of great fans so crokers roof will be lifted a few times hipster (Dublin) - Posts: 2509 - 05/08/2017 20:51:27 2029450 Link 1 |

Agree - will be booking my ticket back to see this one - think Dubs could shade it but only just - it should be a great game.

when was the last time Limerick were in an All Ireland football semi final? Dubs and Tyrone will not care too much about today.

Mother and Father of battles I'd say!!!!! Please God many wounded heroes left prostrate on battlefield to ease Kerry's burden three weeks later. dingle2 (Kerry) - Posts: 278 - 05/08/2017 21:09:02 2029465 Link 0 |

The confidence/arrogance of some of the Kerry lads recently is most unlike them. They've given up the cute hoorism altogether this year. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 05/08/2017 21:21:13 2029481 Link 1 |
You have to call it as you see it, Mayo look a busted flush to me.
