Media has hyped up Galway, I think Tipp should be favourites. They have the better cv

I disagree slightly. Some are predicting a tipp win. Former players and managers are doing nothing to drive down the expectation in Galway. If tipp can stay in the game for 60 mins I think we will win it.
I also can see the tipp full back line playing out of their skins tomorrow.

We can blame the media and god knows they deserve it most of the time.Still,Galway beating Tipp by 16 points in the League Final three and a half months ago might also have something to do with Galway being marginal favourites for this match.Hope we get a classic after yesterday's one sided football matches.Hope the rain doesn't spoil it.Best of luck Galway.

The team Tipp have named for today looks stronger (on paper anyway) than what started against Clare.

This is a hard one to predict. Galway have beaten Dublin, Offaly and Wexford, and beaten them well, to get this far in the Championship. With all due respect to the three beaten counties, although you can only beat what's in front of you, Galway haven't yet been really tested. Tipperary, after losing to Cork by 4 points, have beaten West Meath, Dublin and Clare. The have been tested, by Cork and Clare. I expect a high points scoring game from both sides, whoever scores the most goals will probably win. With everything taking into account, and as much as I want Galway to win, I think Tipp will win a close game. The good news for Galway is that my predictions this have been terrible this year.

Well you were right about Tipp's goals. Galway need to stop Callanan. I think Galway will go down to 14 men if they are not careful. Ref not giving them too much. Watch out Joe C- you are on a yellow. Anyway bring on Jason Flynn, and I guarantee a Galway goal. Looking good for Tipp at half time. But come on Galway!!!!

How hasn't canning been sent off yet. So many cynical fouls since his yellow in the first half.

Fantastic game - Galway deserve it, Tipp blew some terrible wides - no one to blame but themselves. Well done Galway what a game though.

So the likes of you could witness a point of that class in the end.

Well done Galway savage stuff , as a neutral I'm sick we didn't get a draw but fair play to Joe he was having a terrible game by his standards but what a score to win it, hopefully Waterford win next weekend and will have new winners. Hard luck to Tipp they'll be sick but they made it a classic and we're a credit to their county.

The "likes" of me likes to see see the rules of the game enforced. I've no affiliation with either county. When it's happening against you I hope your all for seeing the winning point off a player who should have gotten 2 yellows. Enjoy your day.

Really poor ref - so many bad calls - takes so much away from a great game.

What was wrong with the ref. Enlightened me please. He let the game flow which is what we want. Both sides hit some terrible wides. Was that his fault. Posters like you should not be allowed publish posts

Thrilling stuff, compare that to the borefest yesterday, how anyone can rate football above hurling is beyond me.
Congrats to Galway, Hard Luck to Tipp.
Thought Tipp were slightly hard done by on a couple of frees but it would be wrong to focus on that. Galway have had more than their share of Croke Park heart break, & this team deserves an All Ireland & I believe they will go on to win it this year, regardless of who comes out of next week's semi.
